Gmail
Connect Gmail to include customer reports and email threads in your specifications.
Gmail is often where the first signal of a bug lives — a customer report, a vendor alert, a partner thread. Connecting it lets the agent surface those messages alongside in-product errors.
Connecting
Go to Connectors → Add source integration → Gmail → Connect with Gmail. Authorize read-only access to the connecting user's mailbox when prompted.
What gets searched
During an agent run, SpecSource searches Gmail for:
- Threads mentioning the error, affected feature, or related keywords
- Customer reports and replies tied to the issue
Specs come back with the relevant thread snippets and links so the spec author can follow up if needed.
