Connect GitLab to add code, merge requests, and issues to your specifications.

GitLab gives SpecSource access to your repositories, merge requests, and issue history — everything a developer needs to understand the affected code.

Connecting

Go to Connectors → Add source integration → GitLab → Connect with GitLab. You'll be redirected to GitLab to authorize read-only access to your projects.

What gets searched

During an agent run, SpecSource searches GitLab for:

  • Source files referenced in stack traces or related to the error
  • Recent merge requests that touched the affected code
  • Related issues with similar symptoms or labels

This helps the agent connect runtime errors back to recent changes and ongoing work.
